Farewell and greetings

less than 1 minute read

In the 3-hour Coach USA bus to O’Hare Airport, I can’t stop reflecting my 3 years in Madison. I have never thought of the day I leave. I can’t help thinking of my first ride from O’Hare to Madison. Memories, good old memories keep poping up in my mind. I complained countless times that I will never live in a city almost 4 hours away from a major urban place with an international airport, but this time I hope it can drive slower. Nothing stays forever, and all my friends are going to seperate directions. But I know, it’s the end of my old chapter but also the beginning of my new chapter. Sometimes it hurts to grow up, and sometimes people need to learn to adapt. So, farewell to Madison, and greetings to Vancouver. Anyways, I officially start my new journey as a PhD student at SFU today.
