About Me

Hey there, I am a PhD student advised by Lawrence Kim under Tangent Lab at Simon Fraser University.

Previously, I got my BS degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin Madison, where I worked with Yaxin Hu in People and Robots Lab, advised by Bilge Mutlu.

I came to research the way a lot of people come to obsessions: through science fiction. I am especially motivated by Black Mirror S1E3 The Entire History of You, where memory becomes a perfect, replayable, shareable recording. It poses a question I now work on seriously: what should it mean for a machine to remember with us?

My research develops collaborative agentic memory systems: agents that accumulate, share, and reason over memory across users and tasks, rather than treating it as a passive log. I’m interested in how memory gets formed, negotiated, and forgotten between multiple agents and the people they work with. Science fiction gave me the questions; a PhD is where I try to answer them.

I am always open to new connections and potential collabrations, feel free to drop me an email!
